The differences between the 351M and the 351MP are the screen aspect ratios, the 351MP uses a 4x3 aspect ratio for the LCD screen which is ideal for the classic systems as they're always played in a 4x3 ratio, the 351M, on the other hand, has a more widescreen display which also plays the games in 4x3 ratio but there will be small amounts of space on each side not being used, PSP and GBA will benefit from this widescreen design.
The factory stock firmware had many flaws which limited this amazing unit's ability to emulate, the custom firmware has unlocked this unit's capabilities.
The newer version of Amberelec is open-source software that allows for further updates through Wi-Fi and the ability to download third-party ports, themes, artwork, and much more (wireless dongle not included). Scrolling through the menus is very simple and easy to use and you will not notice any lag while doing so, The emulation is also very smooth for the majority of systems, the settings have been optimized to utilize the hardware to its capacity.

Please beware that these units were not originally intended to support systems such as Dreamcast or N64, although the current software can support some of those system titles, it does not mean they will all run 100% smoothly as some titles are easier to emulate than others, with some tweaking of emulators however you can optimize its performance.
