New custom plug & play Anbernic RG35XX portable handheld gaming console 64GB

Now with custom firmware, it is almost identical to the Onion OS, it is using the latest Garlic OS and it's ready to play without the need to set up the system, saving you precious time and effort.

You also have the option of adding a zippered carry case with a built-in strap, this is ideal for those who travel and want to protect their console.

If you missed out on the Miyoo mini handheld, this new budget handheld, RG35XX custom system with 64GB of space utilizes the same configuration as the miyoo mini which many have come to love is an excellent alternative with over 10k titles, the system is plug and play so you don't have to invest time into setting it up yourself.

It is a true competitor to the popular Miyoo mini handheld but it's slightly larger by comparison and more ideal for those who are looking for something that is easier to hold and easier to view, the screen size is also larger and the build quality is on par with other Anbernic devices. For the cost-to-performance analysis, this device yields excellent results.

Although the system plays well, just like the Miyoo mini, it is still not perfect in regards to stability for certain systems and games, covering over 40 systems and over 10k titles, there's plenty of support for great retro emulation to go around. 

Overall, Garlic OS is a clean interface with a custom boot logo, RetroArch's latest cores which is a superior emulation option compared to the stock China factory software. The stock factory generic SD card is also replaced with higher quality SanDisk, Samsung, PNY or other name-brand SD cards (less likely to encounter SD card corruption).

This handheld will play from 8-bit, 16-bit to all the way up to 32bit PS1 with the vast majority of PS1 being very playable, we didn't notice any games we tested struggling to play on this device, and game saves are a breeze with hotkey commands and access to RetroArch menu makes it more customizable, being able to change aspect ratios, filters, controller remapping, game saves management and much more.

Hardware, this device is slightly larger than the popular miyoo mini and feels very comfortable to hold and play, the larger screen size also makes is easier to see all the details, color, and saturation. The buttons are also very responsive and not "clicky" like some budget handhelds tend to be, the directional pad is also very responsive and comfortable to use, and the rear L and R buttons are easily reachable if you have very large hands, you may find it difficult to use for prolonged periods of time, otherwise, it should be more comfortable than the miyoo controls.
