This is a custom Rog Ally with an upgraded 2TB nvme SSD drive, this is a 2280 full size drive which performs better than the stock smaller 2230 format. The ROG Ally is one of the best handheld devices on the market today and it is capable of emulating all the way up to PS3 and switch as well as older systems, if you are looking for a device that can play everything you need in addition to AAA Windows titles then this is the device you are looking for. AAA titles such as cyberpunk we were able to play at medium settings at 1080p with good performance of 30 FPS or above. In addition it will play pretty much every retro system all the way up to PS3, for PlayStation 3 we tested various titles and were able to obtain 60 FPS at 1080p and averaging 30 FPS or above, refer to some sources on this in regards to expectations for PS3 emulation. Other systems such as PS2, switch, Wii, GameCube, and older platforms are very playable and excellent performance overall.

We have set up a premium version of Retrobat which is the main emulation frontend, it is a variation of Batocera, supporting over 125 retro systems (48k+ titles) and going back over 50 years of gaming history from 8 bit genre to the late 2000's generation, systems such a as Pcsx2 for PS2, GameCube, and Wii (dolphin emulator, Switch, PS3.

Emulation expectations:

Emulation of Wii and GC, PS2 upscaled to 1080p resolution was excellent at around 50 to 60 frames per second. PSP emulation was also excellent on this particular hardware, it is the best performance we've seen on a handheld console, achieving smooth gameplay at X7, and X8 or even X10 resolution without any problems, PS2 at 1080p was also very smooth, some titles may also be able to support 4K resolution. PS3 and switch emulation is also excellent and most titles we tested are playable on this device.

This system also supports Bluetooth or USB controllers such as the Xbox or Playstation and third-party iterations is possible as well and these could be used when gaming on a large screen monitor, you will need a USB C to HDMI converter, however.

While under heavy load and long gaming sessions we noticed that the temperatures were very stable and did not exceed 60° C on average, the fans are quite efficient and keep the system cool but the fan noise is noticeable, and not loud enough to cause problems, however.
