One of the best-selling plug-and-play units we have is the RG552 and it does quite an amazing job and emulating some of the most difficult titles that have always been problematic with other handhelds of previous Anbernic generations. 

Please note that we also have the SD cards for those who already have the system, the 256 GB SD card is plug and play and will work with all models of the RG552.

The primary Linux-based operating system is running the most stable Batocera with NDS support and system fixes from the previous version for the best performance possible, pre-configured on a 256 GB Samsung or SanDisk micro SD card, you will also have the ability to boot up into Android if you desire and have an additional 64 GB of internal storage, if you choose to use

Overall rating on the emulation of various systems, based on the titles we tested:

N64: 8/10 (640x480) resolution, most titles run well, the usual culprits are still not optimal) on Android OS: 10/10 emulation, 720 or 1080 resolution without issues using M64 Plus FZ, frames were smooth and amazing detail to emulation quality.

DC: 9/10 (640x480) majority of games run smoothly, with minimal tweaking required.

PSP: 8.5/10 (2x resolution) when frameskip is applied you can even run at 3x resolution, there will be some titles that are not optimally running.

Saturn: 8/10 the majority of titles are playable without major concern, you may run into choppy play with some titles.

PS1: 10/10 (4:3, 1152x1536 integer scaled) games appear sharp and responsive, have not noticed lag or sound distortion, excellent overall.

8-16 bit systems: 10/10 depending on the system, these older systems will not be a challenge for this hardware, the majority have no frame rate drops or sound distortions, based on what was tested.

Hardware specs: the first thing that you will notice is the ultra-sharp touchscreen IPS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1152 which is sharper than some of the mobile phones of the current generation, the display is vivid and very sharp and is perfect for some of the more graphically demanding games, the color saturation, brightness, and contrast are accurate, the filters have also been applied for ideal and accurate display of classic systems.
